Our Sunbeam class was notified a few weeks ago that we would be doing opening exercises in Primary, and each of the kids volunteered to do a part. Of course, David wanted to give the talk. When I asked him this past week what he wanted to talk about, he already had a topic in mind, so - with some help from Mom - this is the talk David shared in Primary yesterday:

"I have blue eyes like my dad's. I have brown hair like my dad's. My nose looks the same as my dad's and so do my ears. My hair even sticks up in the same place that his does. He is the father of my body.

I have a spirit, too. It lets me feel happy and sad. It helps me be kind to people and be a good helper. Heavenly Father is the father of my spirit.

Jesus is Heavenly Father's Son. He looks like Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father is the father of Jesus' body and his spirit.

Because Heavenly Father is the father of Jesus' spirit and my spirit, Jesus is my brother and He loves me. I love him, too."

He was disappointed that Brian had a drill course to go to yesterday and couldn't be there for his talk, so he shared it again when we got home from church.
