Mother's Day Primary Talk

David volunteered to give the talk in Primary on Mother's Day. We like to let him prepare his own talks. They usually end up being pretty short, but they are sincere and I think we're teaching him to share what he feels is important.

I just found the copy of his talk today and wanted to share it:

"Today is Mother's Day.

I love my mom. She has a baby in her tummy. I named my baby Goldfish. I don't know if it's a brother or a sister, but I'm really excited to be a big brother.

I'm happy that Heavenly Father sent me to Earth to have a family. Families help us live and grow. They love us and teach us about Heavenly Father and Jesus. I'm thankful that my family gets to go to church together. I'm thankful that Heavenly Father gave me my family because I know that they love me very much and I love them, too.

In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

My boy is so cool.
